1. Each student must have:

- A piano in playable condition and properly maintained
- An assignment book to record pieces to be practiced and techniques for learning the music
- A practice journal to note the time and duration of each practice session, time spent on each portion of the assignment, and questions for the instructor

2. Each student must obtain a metronome and music dictionary
3. Each student must keep his or her fingernails short for proper hand position and technique. The finger pads should be exposed.

Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons, playing classes and recitals. Parents are encouraged to attend lessons when possible.

1. The current rate is $65.00 per hour of instruction. Tuition is due by the first lesson of the month for all lessons, either four or five weeks of instruction.
2. Each month that a playing class is scheduled, a fee of $10.00 per student should be added to the tuition check.
3. There is no credit or tuition transfer for missed lessons.
4. When given a minimum of 24 hours notice, the instructor will reschedule a lesson as his schedule permits.

Each student is required to practice daily no less than the minimum amount of time cited by the instructor for the level and age group. A detailed practice journal should be kept to record the time spent working, questions to the instructor for the next lesson, and a simple description of any difficulties encountered while learning the assignment. Parents should guide and assist their child's work.
